System and Network Administrator

What is the role all about?

You will join a team that is responsible for the configuration, maintenance and operation of Cenosco's network, servers and desktop infrastructure, in Zagreb in particular. You will be the main focal point of IT in the Zagreb office and help improve the general corporate network landscape. 

In addition to providing on-site and remote support to maintain IT Networks, Databases and System Infrastructures across multiple sites, you will take lead on variety of projects ranging from replacing switches, server upgrades, and software installations. 

  • Maintain and monitor all network, security, and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements
  • Responsible for management, maintenance, and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools
  • Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
  • Work within strict time frames and elevate incidents within defined timeframes
  • Test all changes to networks, hardware, software, and hosted applications
  • Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports
  • Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultants
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends
  • Lend support to other users in the company for general IT issues.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Proficient with the basic corporate network. From Windows desktops to Windows Servers.
  • Basic switch and firewall knowledge.
  • Solid communication skills for assisting fellow employees.
  • Ability to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience or familiarity with:
    • Windows Server
    • Active Directory environments
    • Networking from managed switches to routers, firewalls.
    • HyperV
    • MSSQL
    • Office 365 Administration
